The court hearing was held on Saturday at the Aleksandre Aladashvili clinic because of Kapanadze’s health condition, Rezonansi reported.

Kapanadze is expected to be transferred to prison later today.

The shooting took place late at night on July 22 at 31 Shanidze Street in Vera, a central district of Tbilisi. According to the report, four people, including two minors, were wounded by shots fired from a firearm belonging to Kapanadze.

One of the wounded, 17-year-old Nikoloz Ghunashvili, later died in hospital.
