Anti-tree felling protester in Tbilisi hospitalized after hunger strike

nata_peradzeTBILISI, DFWatch–The Guerilla Gardening group is continuing their protest outside City Hall against the recent tree-cutting in the capital.

One of the group’s leaders was hospitalized on Wednesday after being on hunger strike for seven days, but she was replaced by another activist.

TBILISI, DFWatch–One of the seven men arrested in Georgia for planning to blow up a Russian gas pipeline has denied any links to Ukraine.

The suspect Beka Bekauri is still in hospital after suffering serious head trauma. He has had an operation and his condition is now stable.
