Abkhazian leader resigns
TBILISI, DFWatch–The leader of the Georgian breakaway region Abkhazia, Alexander Ankvab, resigned on Sunday.
Ankvab said he resigned in order to ‘maintain the stability of the country’, according to the Russian news agency Itar-Tass.
