TBILISI, DFWatch – A computer programmer who went missing more than a week ago has returned to his home.

Mamuka Jibladze (54) disappeared on June 11. After two days, his family called police to report him as missing.

The Interior Ministry started a search operation and yesterday they found him caught on a surveillance camera while walking past the Holiday Inn Hotel in Tbilisi.

Mamuka Jibladze used to work at the National Examinations Center, where he created the CAT logarithm, which is a program for converting exam papers into computer code. He resigned along with half of the staff shortly after head of the center was fired a few weeks ago.

Interior Ministry representatives say they will question him today, which will make it clear why he was missing.

Family members tell media he is in good health.
