
TBILISI, July 2 – A child under the age of three drowned in the sea in Ureki, a Black Sea resort town in western Georgia, Interpressnews reported Thursday.
According to the news agency, the child was with foreign citizens and had slipped away from a tent before the incident.
Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation based on an article of the criminal code about death by negligence.
Ureki is a seaside resort on Georgia’s Black Sea coast.
