TBILISI, September 28 – A 27-year-old man was killed and another man seriously injured when their car left the road and crashed into a memorial wall in eastern Georgia, Interpressnews reported Sunday.
The crash happened in the village of Sabatlo, in Dedoplistskaro municipality. According to local residents cited by the news agency, the younger man had been at a gathering before the crash. While returning home, the vehicle went off the road and struck the wall of a memorial in Sabatlo.
The 27-year-old died in the crash. A 35-year-old man who was also in the vehicle suffered serious injuries.
He was first taken to a clinic in Dedoplistskaro, but was later brought to Tbilisi due to his serious condition.
