TBILISI, May 24 – One person was killed and four others were injured in a road accident in southern Georgia’s Marneuli municipality on Sunday.
The crash happened in the village of Tsopi, where two cars collided, according to Interpressnews.
Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs told Interpressnews that an investigation has been launched for violation of traffic safety or vehicle operation rules.
Marneuli municipality is in the Kvemo Kartli region, south of Tbilisi and close to Georgia’s borders with Armenia and Azerbaijan.
