26,000 passed university entrance exams in Georgia

TBILISI, DFWatch–More than 26,000 candidates have been accepted as students this year, according to the head of Georgia’s National Exam Center.

Maia Miminoshvili told journalists that about 35,500 entrants took their test exams this year, but 9,000 failed to pass.

Armenia's gas supply restored, pipeline repaired after landslide

TBILISI, DFWatch–Gas began flowing again Saturday in a pipeline that runs through a Georgian mountain valley which was hit by a landslide on August 21.

The pipeline through Dariali Valley brings Russian natural gas to Armenia.
