Georgia gets new region and infrastructure minister

TBILISI, DFWatch–Elguja Khokrishvili was Monday appointed as Georgia’s new minister for regional development and infrastructure.

He will take over from Davit Narmania, who is stepping down in order to run for Tbilisi mayor in the local elections on June 15.

TBILISI, DFWatch–The 2014 local elections in Georgia will be held on June 15. This is decided in a decree by President Giorgi Margvelashvili signed April 10.
