TBILISI, January 28 – Two people were killed and one injured in a road accident in southern Georgia on Wednesday, police said.
The crash happened in the village of Baidari, near Marneuli. According to initial information, a car carrying members of the same family veered off the road and hit a tree.
Emergency services were called to the scene, but two passengers died from their injuries.
One other person was taken to hospital with injuries.
Georgia’s Interior Ministry said an investigation has been launched.
