TBILISI, DFWatch–Five people were detained in Tbilisi on Saturday, accused of providing premises for prostitution.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the detainees – one man and four women – are managers of the hotels Sabudara and Viza in Tbilisi.

The investigation established that the suspects allocated rooms for women to use for prostitution, and received money in return.

The women prostitutes were questioned as witnesses.

The investigation is based on section 254 of the Criminal Code about offering premises for prostitution purposes.
