TBILISI, DFWatch–Prison Ministry employees in Georgia have disrupted two attempts to bring drugs into a prison in Tbilisi.

According to the ministry, the father of a prison came to Prison No 8 with a parcel. When the prison employees opened the parcel, there was a blue jeans which contained marijuana leaves in the back pocket.

Another visitor attempted to bring marijuana into the same prison for another prisoner, whose brother came to visit him carrying a parcel.

The ministry is investigating both cases. (Pirveli.)
