Teacher bitten by snake in kindergarten yard

TBILISI, June 5 – A kindergarten teacher in western Georgia was bitten by a snake after entering the yard of a preschool in the center of Ozurgeti, TV Pirveli reported.

The incident happened a few days ago at a kindergarten located in central Ozurgeti, in front of the city’s second public school. According to the report, the teacher was in the kindergarten yard when the snake bit her. She was later taken to Batumi for medical treatment.

The teacher’s condition is stable, according to the report.

The head of the kindergarten, Vera Vasadze, ended the phone call when TV Pirveli called to ask for comment.
