TBILISI, October 7 – Georgian judoka Tato Grigalashvili won gold in the 81 kg category at the World Judo Championships in Baku on Wednesday. This is his fourth world title.
The 26-year-old defeated Zelim Tckaev in extra time in the final.
Grigalashvili has now won world championship gold in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2026.
Wednesday’s final was also his sixth consecutive appearance in a World Championship final.
