TBILISI, DFWatch–Three percent less people visited Georgia in January 2015, compared to the same period last year, according to new figures from the Ministry of internal Affairs.
The figures were presented on Tuesday by the ministry’s Department of Analysis,

More than 5.4 million people visited the country last year, which is a 1.9 percent increase compared to 2013.
The Interior Ministry published its monthly statistics of visitors to Georgia,

The number of visitors in October was 480 510. In the entire first ten months of this year, there were 4 556
TBILISI, DFWatch–21 percent more foreigners visited Georgia in April 2013 than in the same month the year before. In the first five months of the year as a whole, 32 percent more foreigners visited the country, compared to the preceding year.
