TBILISI, January 31 – An 80-year-old man has died in a house fire in the village of Dagva, in Kobuleti Municipality, local authorities said on Saturday.
According to neighbors, the elderly man was unable to leave the house in time as the fire spread through the residential building.
The Emergency Management Service of Georgia told Interpressnews that the fire has now been fully extinguished.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia said an investigation has been launched for destruction of property caused by setting a fire.
