TBILISI, September 23 – A 12th-grade student in western Georgia has died three weeks after being struck by shotgun pellets during a hunting trip, Interpressnews reported Wednesday.
The teenager had gone quail hunting with a relative near the town of Terjola when pellets fired by the relative struck him, according to the news agency. He died three weeks after the incident.
Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs said a criminal investigation has been launched for causing serious bodily injury through negligence.
