TBILISI, DFWatch–Georgia’s defense and foreign ministers on Monday spoke by phone with Ukraine’s acting defense and foreign ministers.
In the phone conversation, Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze expressed deep concern about the events taking place in Ukraine.
She condemned the Russian aggression against a sovereign and independent state and explained what top officials in Georgia think about developments in Ukraine, according to the Foreign Ministry.
Ukraine’s acting foreign minister Deshchytsia Andrii confirmed that there is an occupation of Crimea and said Ukraine plans to solve the conflict through peaceful means.
