TBILISI, DFWatch–Georgia will send a delegation to attend the 50th Munich Security Conference.

According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, it is decided that a delegation from Georgia will attend the conference, but it is still unknown who the members of the delegation will be.

In the past years, it has been regular practice that former president Mikheil Saakashvili attended the Security Conference on behalf of Georgia.

The 50th conference will be held from January 31 to February 2 in Munich. On the agenda are events in Syria and Ukraine.

So far leaders of 18 countries, about 50 foreign ministers and ten international organizations have said they will attend the conference.
