TBILISI, DFWatch – Representatives of the Council of Europe’s observer mission will arrive in Georgia next week in order to get familiar with the situation before the upcoming parliamentary elections on October 1.
Nino Kalandadze, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, said on Monday that the visit will last from September 10 until September 13.
Members of the delegation will meet with the government and political party representatives to get familiar with events in the election campaign.
There is also planned a meeting with the president, the parliament speaker and the head of the Central Election Commission.
