Low voter turnout, but election's legitimacy not in question

TBILISI, DFWatch–Despite low turnout, the legitimacy of today’s election is not in question, says Georgia’s Central Election Commission (CEC).

By 15:00, 32 percent had voted. In 2012’s parliamentary election, the turnout at 15:00 was 45 percent.

TBILISI, DFWatch–According to a survey conducted by Research and Consult Center Psiqo Proeqti, 57.6 percent support the Georgian Dream coalition candidate for president, Giorgi Margvelashvili, while 11.8 percent support Davit Bakradze, the National Movement candidate.
