TBILISI, August 30 – Police in eastern Georgia have detained an armed man who attempted to rob a currency exchange booth in the eastern town of Telavi.
Witnesses said the suspect stormed into the kiosk on Erekle II Avenue with a firearm and demanded cash. The attempt failed, and officers arrested him at the scene before he could escape with any money, Interpressnews reported.
