TBILISI, DFWatch–Ex-Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili has founded a non-governmental organization called Citizen.
Details are scarce, but it is known that Ivanishvili himself will head the new organization and that its goal will be to strengthen civil society in the country.
The former PM is to hold a press conference on January 28 to present the initiative.
Ivanishvili went into politics in late 2011, and left after the presidential election on October 27, 2013. He said he was planning to continue working to improve society as amn ordinary citizen, but nothing has been known about his plans until now.
