TBILISI, DFWatch – Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili has set up a new board of military advisers in the Defense Ministry.

The point of having the new advisors there is to aid in the transformation process of Georgia’s armed forces.

The advisors will analyze existing possibilities in the armed forces, observe negative signs and make recommendations for how to resolve problems.

The advisory board will make recommendations during the process of preparing conceptual documents in the spheres of defense and security.
