Freedom & Democracy Watch is an independent news service reporting on the state of democracy and freedom in Georgia. It is published by Journalists for the Future, a non-governmental organization registered in Georgia and supported by Open Society and The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. dfwatch.net was launched in September 2011. We who make this website are three editors and three journalists.
Apart from reporting on news that concerns democracy development, the website also aims to accommodate discussion among academics, politicians and others and to provide a space for an exchange of ideas between different positions.
