TBILISI, July 24 – A young man has died after an iron structure collapsed in the yard of a residential house in Samtredia in western Georgia, Interpressnews reported.
According to the news agency, the accident happened while an iron structure was being built in the yard. The structure collapsed and injured the young man.
He was taken to hospital, but later died from his injuries.
Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs told Interpressnews that an investigation has been launched for violation of safety rules during mining, construction or other types of work.
