TBILISI, DFWatch–A policeman was brutally attacked in western Georgia Tuesday, after locals accused him of having raped a woman.

Local media reported that the policeman was found naked, with a broken leg, and in a pool of blood near the presidential residence in Zugdidi, after someone had beaten him and cut his ear.

The man was brought to the republican hospital in Zugdidi.

Later, the police questioned witnesses who said he tried to rape the wife of one of his friends.
