TBILISI, DFWatch–Michael Aastrup Jensen and Boriss Cilevics from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will arrive in Georgia on Monday for a five-day visit.
On Monday, the co-rapporteurs have planned to hold meetings with Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and non-governmental organizations. They will also meet with the minister for reintegration.
The delegation will remain in Georgia until April 12. Among other things on their agenda are meeting the public defender, the chairman of the Supreme Court, the justice minister and the chief prosecutor, prime minister’s representative for relations with Russia, the president and representatives of the parliamentary opposition, independent members of parliament and the parliament speaker.
Outside of the capital, the two plan to visit Akhaltsikhe and Akhalkalaki, two towns in the south of Georgia, and meet NGO representatives there.
