TBILISI, DFWatch–One person has been found dead after the landslide catastrophe in Georgia on Thursday.

The body was found on the bank of the river Tergi near the village Larsi on the Russian side of the border.

According to head of Kazbegi municipality Givi Kirikashvili, the corpse belongs to a Turkish citizen who was working in a tunnel when the landslide struck.

One more person is missing.

Kazbegi Larsi checkpoint, which connects Georgia and Russia, is still flooded. Traffic is not allowed to pass through Dariali Valley.
