TBILISI, DFWatch–A man was arrested Friday in the west of Georgia accused of triple murder.
Three men who had been missing for several days were found dead in a river in Zugdidi with gun shot wounds to their head and chest region.
The killing took place on February 10 in the village Abastumani, in the Khetseri district of Zugdidi.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the motive was envy.
The accused admitted having carried out the triple murder, MIA said.
An investigation has been opened for premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances pursuant to article 109 of the Crimnal Code.
