TBILISI, DFWatch–A student from Iraq was beaten in the Georgian city Kutaisi on Saturday. Local media writes that he was attack because of his origins.
The student was brought to the hospital and will have to remain there for several more days.
Unknown assailants from the district where the victim is living beat him in the university yard.
The Iraqi is studying medicine at Akaki Tsereteli State University.
Doctors refrained from commenting due to his request.
