Georgia lose 1-0 to Hungary in Nations League

TBILISI, October 4 – Georgia’s national football team suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Hungary in the third round of the UEFA Nations League B division.

The match was played at the Puskás Arena in Budapest.

Hungary scored the only goal of the game in the first half through Milos Kerkez.

Georgia were unable to find an equalizer and left Budapest without a point from the match.

The national team now turns to its next Nations League fixture, away to Northern Ireland on October 5.

The Hungary match was Georgia’s third game in the current Nations League campaign.
