TBILISI, DFWatch–The foreign ministers of France and Germany and an EU commissioner have postponed their visits to Georgia due to the latest developments in Ukraine.

EU Commissioner Stefan Fule should have visited Georgia on Monday while Laurent Fabius and Frank-Walter Steinmeier were to visit Georgia on March 3-4.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the reason the ministers have postponed their trips is the latest events in Ukraine and a session of EU foreign ministers to be held in Brussels today, according to Interpressnews.

A new date has not been set for Fabius’ and Steinmeier’s visits, but Fule’s visit is postponed for 24 hours. He will also attend the meeting of foreign ministers in Brussels today.
