TBILISI, DFWatch–Police in Georgia Saturday detained a former official in the Defense Ministry and charged him with illegally owning and keeping a weapon.
Alexandre Ninua, former head of the purchasing department at the ministry, was placed in pre-trial detention the same day.
The next hearing in the case is January 15, 2014.
