TBILISI, August 3 – Georgian police have arrested two people accused of attacking and robbing a foreign national on a street in Tbilisi.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said the suspects assaulted the victim and stole mobile phones and money before fleeing the scene.
Officers from the Old Tbilisi division arrested both suspects shortly after the incident, the ministry said on Monday.
The two suspects are now facing charges that may lead to a prison sentence of up to eight years if found guilty.
