TBILISI, January 29 – A foreign national has died after falling from a height in the Georgian Black Sea city of Batumi, authorities said.
The incident took place in a multi-storey residential building on Khimshiashvili Street, a central area of the city.
Emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene, but the man could not be saved and was pronounced dead.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is investigating the case based on a section of the criminal code that deals with causing another person to commit suicide.
