TBILISI, July 24 – Electricity has been fully restored across Georgia after a major overnight blackout left Tbilisi and other regions without power for several hours, Interpressnews reported.
Georgia’s State Electrosystem said on Friday morning that power supply had been restored throughout the country.
The outage began at around 00:10 on Friday, affecting both the capital and other parts of Georgia. The company has not yet named the cause.
State Electrosystem said it was still working to determine the exact reason for the emergency shutdown and would provide more information to the public later.
The blackout began shortly after midnight and was gradually resolved during the morning. By 11:19, the state operator said electricity had been fully restored nationwide.
