TBILISI, DFWatch–40 000 households in Georgia are without electricity due to bad weather.
According to Energo-Pro Georgia, which distributes electricity to consumers, 50 000 households have been without electricity since morning, but power supply to 10 000 of them has now been restored.
The company has dispatched personnel to try to fix the problem, but heavy wind is interrupting their work. If the weather improves, electricity will be restored soon, according to the company.
The villages that have had their electricity cut lie in the western regions Imereti, Samegrelo and Adjara.
