TBILISI, DFWatch–Germany’s Angela Merkel has invited Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili to Germany.
Gharibashvili will visit Germany in the beginning of June.
According to Davit Maghradze, advisor at the international relations department at the government office, this is first time the German chancellor invites a government official from Georgia.
Maghradze said the meeting will be about bilateral and multilateral relation issues and is is important since Georgia is to sign a treaty with the European Union.
The Association Agreement will include a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement. Georgia expects to sign no later than June.
