TBILISI, DFWatch–Tbilisi ranks 194th among 230 cities in the newest survey of quality of living published by Mercer’s.
While last year’s report noted the Georgian capital as the lowest-ranked city in Europe at 191, residents may this year find some comfort in seeing neighbor Baku three places below at 197 – if that counts as Europe.
Other low ranking European cities this year are Tirana in 180th and Minsk 189th place, while Kiev is in 176th place.
Georgia’s other neighboring capital Yerevan is in 183rd place. Moscow is number 167 on the list.
Top cities in 2015 are Vienna, Austria; Zurich, Switzerland; Auckland, New Zealand; Munich, Germany and Vancouver, Canada.
On the bottom of the list there are N’Djamena, Chad; Khartoum, Sudan; Port au Prince, Haiti; Bangui, Central African Republic and Baghdad, Iraq.
