TBILISI, DFWatch — Military Police in Georgia have seized about a hundred weapons of different types at an apartment in Tbilisi.

Vako Avaliani, Advisor to the Defense Minister, on Monday said the weapons were not registered.

The ministry learned about the location of the weapons cache from a citizen.

The investigation is still in progress. The advisor says the investigation will make it clear who built up this arsenal in an apartment and why.

Kakha Chikhladze, chair of the military police, explains that most of the weapon are of the models MP3 and MP5K.
