Two flights cancelled at Tbilisi airport due to pilot strike in Lufthansa

TBILISI, DFWatch–Tbilisi international airport reported two flights are postponed on Wednesday because of the pilot strike in Lufthansa.

The two affected flights were to have been carried out early Thursday morning, Tbilisi-Munich at 4.05am and Munich-Tbilisi at 5.00am.

According to The Guardian, about 900 flights were postponed on Wednesday due to the strike, affecting 100,000 passengers.

The pilots are on strike to demand a higher pay rise. This is the fourteenth pilot strike since April 2015.
