TBILISI, DFWatch — Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili and Mayor of Tbilisi Gigi Ugulava have left for Germany to participate in a conference organized by the German Marshall Fund.

According to the president’s press office, there is planned an event called ‘Following the Future of Georgia’, where participants will discuss Georgia’s internal and regional challenges, current political processes and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Officials from various countries, including the Estonian president, and the foreign ministers of Sweden and Poland, will attend the meeting, as well as international experts and diplomatic corps.

This is the fifth time such a conference is being held. Traveling with the president and Ugulava are also a few other members of the National Movement.
