TBILISI, DFWatch – When Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili comes to parliament this evening to make his speech about the state of the nation, groups and opposition parties will be demonstrating outside.

The press office of the Free Georgia Party announced the demonstration.

The Association of Unemployed for Employment, Public Movement of Refugees, and the Free Associations Union will also participate in the rally.

The demonstrators have four main demands to the president: “roof for the refugees”, “return Abkhazia and Shida Kartli”, “make conditions right for creating work places” and “take Georgian troops out of Afghanistan.”

The rally will start at 20:00, the time of President Saakashvili’s annual address to parliament.
