55 percent voted for the governing Georgian Dream coalition, 20 percent for the National Movement, based on results from 468 out of 3,637 precincts in the country. (DF Watch.)

TBILISI, DFWatch–Georgian Dream gets 55.45 percent of the votes in all of Georgia, UNM  20.19 percent while Burjanadze’s coalition received 9.8 percent of the votes counted in 468 out of 3,637 precincts in the country.

In Tbilisi, preliminary figures from the Central Election Commission (CEC) show that it will most likely be necessary with a second round of election for mayor.

Results from 101 out of 729 precincts in Tbilisi has Georgian Dream candidate Davit Narmania at 46.48 percent, which means that he failed to win in the first round.

National Movement’s Nika Melia has 27.11 percent in the preliminary results, Dimitry Lortkipanidze from Nino Burjanadze United Opposition has 13.3 percent of the votes counted so far.

In the election for Tbilisi City Council, Georgian Dream has 47.07 percent of votes, UNM 25.22 percent of votes and Nino Burjanadze’s coalition 10.49 percent.
