TBILISI, DFWatch – A group carrying out parallel vote counting has estimated that Georgian Dream won by 54.6 to 40.7 percent over National Movement.

International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) published their results of parallel vote tabulation (PVT).

ISFED had 1271 trained accredited observers in every precinct of every region of Georgia. The organization also observed precincts abroad: in Kiev, Budapest and Brussels.

According to ISFED, voter turnout was 61% and the number of violations was not higher than 3-4% .

According to the PVT results:

Georgian Dream has 54.6%

United National Movement _ 40.7 %

Christian- Democrats _ 2.0 %

Labor party _ 1.2 %

other _ 1. 4 %

The web site electionsportal.ge , which is a joint project of several non-governmental organizations was very active. The aim of the web site was to gather all the violation cases at the election precincts of Georgia.

At 11:00 of October 2 there are uploaded 316 incidents.

ISFED’s observers appealed to precinct election commission with 66 and to the district election commission with 58 complaints.
