TBILISI, DFWatch–The Lithuanian prime minister on Monday starts a two day visit to Georgia.

On the first day of his visit, Algirdas Butkevičius will meet his Georgian counterpart Irakli Garibashivli after an official welcoming ceremony at the government office in the morning. After the meeting, the prime ministers will hold a joint press conference.

Butkevičius will also meet with President Giorgi Margvelashivli.

According to the press office of the Lithuanian government,  (http://www.lrv.lt/en/news/top-stories/?nid=615) some of the topics on the Lithuanian delegation’s agenda will be to discuss bilateral economic cooperation, transport and energy issues, and Georgia’s Euro Atlantic integration.

The Lithuanian PM will also meet with representatives of the Baltic Business Association in Georgia.

Tuesday, he will take part in a Lithuanian-Georgian business forum and later head to EU’s Monitoring Mission in Mtskheta close to the capital.
