TBILISI, DFWatch–Georgia’s foreign trade turnover in the first eleven months of 2015 was 14 percent less than in the same period last year, according to preliminary figures published by the National Statistics Department.

The total turnover amounted to USD 8,892 million, out of which export was USD 2,019 million – 23 percent less than last year, while import was USD 6,873 million – 11 percent less than last year.

The negative trade balance in January-November of 2014 was USD 4,854 million, which is 55 percent of the total foreign trade turnover.
