Georgian parliament speaker visiting Israel

TBILISI, DFWatch–The Georgian speaker of parliament is Tuesday visiting Israel.

Davit Usupashvili will meet with Yuli-Yoel Edelstein, Speaker of the Knesset, as well as with the head of the Israel-Georgia Parliamentary Friendship Group, Avraham Michaeli.

Usupashvili will hold a speech in the Knesset and later meet with recently elected President Reuven Rivlin, Deputy Foreign Minister Ze’ev Elkin and head of the opposition Isaac Herzog.

Traveling with the Georgian parliament speaker is the head of the foreign affairs committee in parliament, Tedo Japaridze.
