TBILISI, DFWatch – Georgia fell one place in the Global Enabling Trade Report 2012.

The list is published by the World Economic Forum (weforum.org). It contains 132 countries and ranks them according to how well they perform in market access, border administration, infrastructure and business environment.

In this year’s report, published Thursday, Georgia had fell to 38th place, one down from 2011.

Singapore tops the list, followed by Hong Kong, Denmark, Sweden, and New Zealand. Chad is last.

Estonia is the only former Soviet country that ranks higher than Georgia, placing 26th. Armenia is in 59th place, Azerbaijan 81th, Ukraine 86th, and Russia in 112th place.
